My name is Jessica. I live in the Portland with my husband and two spoiled fur-babies (our cats Princess Leia and Samwise).

I don’t tend to buy whole new collections when they come out (just polishes that really grab me). I do lust after them though! I enjoy playing with polishes that are fun, catch my eye and allow me to express various facets of myself.

In my free time I enjoy reading, the internet, hiking and mountain biking. My friends and family would also say I am more than a bit obsessed with jewelry. Nail polish is much cheaper habit to support though!

I love the way the site is developing. I like the sidebar very much. Still very user friendly and easy to view and navigate. Princess Leia and Samwise are so precious – very handsome cats!

Martje, that is so cool! Is Princess Leia Lucky Buttons the tuxedo cat on your blog? You can’t really see in that picture, but our Leia is a tuxedo cat

hi, your site is very useful, there are many very nice nailpolishes, beautiful colors. i always buy one or two colors (pretty boring) but i memorized some of those you tried so i hope to buy them soon. thanks (your cats are adorable!)

My kitties are sitting in the office with me right now. I am sure it makes them happy to know that someone is admiring their picture!

Hi there, I was actually browsing Essie nail polish and your blog came up. I wanted to see what it was all about, and let me say, I love it! I too love all kinds of nail polish in all colors. I mainly buy OPI but I like to see what other brands are out there. I live in the Monterey area and travel to San Jose quite often for shopping. Where can all of the brands be found? The colors are so beautiful, I want to add to my collection ASAP! Thanks for a great blog. I will be checking back regularly

Some of my favorites in San Jose are Ulta (great selection including OPI, Essie, China Glaze, etc) and Planet Beauty. Planet Beauty always seems to be running a buy 3 get 1 free deal Sally Beauty tends to has some good specials too!

Kind of cool that you’re from the Bay Area! I lived in Cupertino all my life until moving to Santa Cruz for school.

You should check out US Nail Supply in San Jose off S. King St. That place is heaven, although every time I’ve gone, I’ve never been able to get everything I wanted in one fell swoop. It’s always come back later, we have it, but that’s the only downside!

Yes, my ancestry is Western European mutt – LOL Mostly German, Irish, Scottish and English. Where’s your family from? Last summer my husband and I had the chance to go to Germany, Austria and Italy (he is half Italian ancestry). We had a great time!!
