Art Deco 275
- by Playing with Polish
Art Deco 275 is one of the nail polishes I bought in Germany. My German friend Andrea had advised me that she would prefer to buy nail polish in the US as she thought that the prices and selection was better. She also told me that glitter polish was popular in Germany. Still I had to buy a few! When I saw this polish I figured it was a glitter. I love purple and I saw a gold/coppery pink flash too, so I thought this might be a bit more interesting than it first appeared.
When I applied this I was surprised to find that it was glass flecked rather than a glitter! I don’t have Zoya’s Mimi, but it looks similar to pictures I have seen on other blogs. I would describe 275 as a grape purple with a lot of dimension. I love this color!
This polish is on the thicker side, so application was a bit gloppy. I almost had opaque coverage in two coats, but I did have a few areas that were still a bit thin. With three coats things were totally opaque, and smoothed out for the most part. I wore this one for 4 days, and found that it held up quite well.
Three coats and a top coat shown.
