Amaretto Fizz is a shimmery duo chrome dark golden brown that shifts to a plum. When I bought it I thought the color was similar to OPI’s Meet Me on the Star Ferry. They do share some similar characteristics the bottle, but not on the nail. The OPI is more of a red leaning plum with blue and pink micro glitter, and the Nailtini is golden brown/brown plum with a shimmer finish.

I like amaretto as a Christmas treat, but I had never heard of or tried an Amaretto Fizz. My friend Veronica was kind enough to come over and help me make one It was quite tasty, but much lighter and not at all similar in color to the polish! If you are interested in trying the drink, the recipe I used called for equal parts amaretto, orange juice and club soda (2 ounces each). Shake the amaretto and oj with ice in a cocktail shaker, then pour into a martini glass. Add the club soda last and enjoy! Mmm…

I wore this one for almost two days, and got a lot of compliments. It did not wear very well though. I had tip wear (visible in the pictures, especially on the ring finger) within a few hours of application!
